Progress and adorable kittens

First thing first, the cross stitch. Here’s the picture as of this morning:

It’s not exactly where I’d like it to be, but there’s still hope.

Secondly, KITTENS!

These two are furry little terrors, and I love them so much lol. They love running around, and making messes. Spooky is rather cuddly, but doesn’t much like her picture being taken:

Mrs. Norris is also cuddly, just not as much. She’s kind of okay with her picture being taken:

Looking at her, I know she’s going to be really big when she’s fully grown. More cat to love!

So anyways, that’s it for now. I might start making some things for a trip I’m going to take later this year. More info on that to come. Until next time, Happy Stitching!

Lots of cross-stitchy progress

I’ve only been working on one project this past week, and that’s the cross stitch. I have quite a bit done, though you wouldn’t think it just by looking at it. Here’s the picture:

I don’t have any new kitten pictures for you right now, sorry. They’re growing like weeds! Mrs. Norris is going to be HUGE when she’s fully grown! They’re also playing a lot, and drive me crazy sometimes, but they’re adorable and loving most of the time 🙂

That’s it for now. Until next time, Happy Stitching!

A finished item, more progress, and . . . kittens?

Okay, first thing first. Cross stitch. I did a fair amount considering the upheaval. Here’s the picture:

If I’ve planned this correctly, (and nothing major happens) I should be done with this page before the end of the month.

Second: That knitting project I finished last week: 100_5794

I’m blocking it as I type.  I think it will do well as a kitten blanket once they stop biting and clawing everything in sight.

Third: The kitten cave. They don’t actually use it right now, but maybe they will at some point:

And lastly, the moment you’ve probably been waiting for since reading the title…… KITTENS!

I now have two little bitty kittens. The fluffy one is Mrs. Norris, and the tiny black one is Spooky:

So that’s it. As always, until next time: Happy Stitching!

Progress! A finished item, and a new one!

Firstly, the cross stitch. I didn’t get as much done as I should like this past week, but I did get a bit done. Here’s the picture:

Secondly, the Hemlock Ring blanket. I got a bit bored with it, and realized I wouldn’t have enough of this yarn to get it too far anyways, so after 5 rounds of the feather and fan border, I did a simple crochet bind off. It’s going to be small, but it may make a nice little cat blanket or something. I still have to block it, but here’s the picture fresh off the  needles.

Lastly, I decided to make a cat cave. I started last night, and am about half finished with it. Here’s the picture so far:

Not as much progress…

I finished page two of the cross stitch on Wednesday. That same day, I started knitting the blanket, but I haven’t had much progress on either project this week. My dog is sick, and I’ve been having to feed him his medication, and try to get him to eat, and dealing with all the stress of that. The poor dear. I’m going to take him to the vet again on Tuesday, where he’s going to get some tests done.

For those interested, this is a picture of him as a puppy. He hasn’t changed that much since then, except he’s gotten bigger. Now that he’s sick, he’s much thinner 😦

Anyways, here’s the picture of the cross stitch:

And I’m on round 35 of the blanket. Here it is, on the needles, and wrapped around the ball of yarn:

That’s all for now. Until next time, Happy Stitching!
