Finally!!!!

Okay guys, this post is a little later than I intend but…. I finished the Antique Celtic Sampler! I worked on it from the time I woke up this morning (and finished a few chores) until about five minutes ago, and it’s finally freaking done! Do I love it? Yes, of course. I will display it proudly in my home until the end of time. Will I ever even slightly consider stitching it again? HELL NO lol It’s beautiful and all, but I was so bored with it! I don’t even care that the frame I put it in cuts off a bit of the border on two sides. Well, here’s two pictures for you to see for yourself:

And that’s all I’ve been working on this week. I took some time off yesterday to use my birthday present, a copy of Resident Evil 7. I beat it in 5 hours and 56 minutes (including time off for bathroom and eating) and only died three times lol. That’s a record for me in a first play through of a RE game! At any rate, I’ll be working on Jake and Kaya for a few days, and then I’ll start a new (small) project. So here are the kitties:

Almost there!

I’m so close to finishing Antique Celtic Sampler! I have to finish my current color, and do four more, and then I’m done! Wooo!

Illness sucks

I was sick for a couple days this week, so I couldn’t do nearly as much as I wanted to. Oh well. I got a bit more progress done on the Celtic Sampler.

I also finished another color on Jake and Kaya:

My friends received their Nerdy Wall Hanging, too. They said they loved it, and were so excited to get it! I’m so glad they liked it.

A finish, and a new start

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!

I started, and finished, the Jedi pattern last week. It was super fast and easy, and I’ll be sending it to my friends as soon as I find an envelope that will fit it lol. If anyone wants the pattern, just let me know and jedi or send it your way.

I also did a bit of work on Jake and Kaya. The rest of the thread came in two days ago, so I’ll be able to do a lot more work on it soon. Here’s the progress picture, and a picture of what it’s meant to look like when finished:

As for the new start, I broke out the ‘Antique Celtic Sampler’ pattern, some blue fabric, and a few skeins of variegated floss. I will probably have to use a bit of regular floss, as well, since I don’t have enough colors to match the 8 called for. Anyways, I’ve started the border, and this is what it looks like:

Also, I got my needle minders in last week! 

Lastly, I caught a picture of the kittens just as they were taking a break from wrestling.
