Page 2 almost done!

So…. I did not finish page 2 this week. I still have about 5 colors to go. So because I spent this whole week trying to finish it as quickly as I can, I haven’t been able to start the knitting. Oh well. I’m going to finish the page this week for sure, and then take a day off of cross stitch and start knitting that blanket. Here’s the new picture:

So until next week, Happy Stitching!

Cross stitch update and possible new project

I finished quite a bit of the cross stitch project, and have about 18 colors more to finish (two of them only have a couple stitches, so they’ll go super fast!). I’m thinking I might actually finish this page by next week, which means I can start page three that much sooner! YES! Here’s the picture so far:

I might start a new knitting project soon. I was thinking, I need something to work on when I just really don’t want to cross stitch, so I might start the Hemlock Ring blanket at some point. Here’s the picture featured on the pattern:

I will probably knit it in black.

Well, that’s all for now.

Until next time, Happy Stitching!

A singular update

I have only a cross stitch update for you today. I started the gold/yellow stitches a couple days ago, and this is what it looks like:

It’s looking good so far, and I can’t wait to see Aurora finished. (That’s going to take a while though. She still has two more pages to her, and those are at the beginning of the second row of blocks)

Until next time, Happy Stitching!

Finished project and more progress!

Woo! I finished the shawl! You can’t see much of the stitch detail at the bottom, but the coloring is awesome:

So there’s that project DONE!

As for the cross stitch: I got in the new colors I needed, finished page one of the pattern, and started on page two. I have most of the blue stitches done, and should be finished with the rest of them by Wednesday. Then, on to yellow! Here’s the picture:

That’s all for now. Until next time, Happy Stitching!
