No main picture this week

Sorry guys, but I can’t upload a picture of the big Disney cross stitch today. For some reason my camera won’t turn on. I don’t know if it’s because of the camera itself, or because all the batteries I’ve tried are dead. At least I can tell you that I only have 8.5 colors left on this page!

 

As for the blanket, I haven’t worked on it at all this last week, so there’s no reason for a picture there.

I did alter that dalmatian cross stitch I made before. I added beads to it, to look like falling snow! I also wrapped it around some cardboard, added a hanging loop made from silver sparkly ribbon, and added a foam backing. Here’s what it looks like with the beads:

 

I also have pictures of the kitties, that I took a couple days ago:

Will this page ever end?!

It feels like this page keeps going on and on! However, I WILL finish this darned page by the end of the month. Here’s this weeks’ photo:

Also, I’ve just finished the skein of pink yarn for the blanket. It’s not yet the 6 feet that I want, but hey, it’s only one strip and I have a lot more yarn. Here’s what it looks like:

Decent progress, and some crochet!

I’ve done a fair amount of stitching this week. Maybe not as much as I should like, but decent none the less.

 

As promised, here’s a picture of the crochet blanket I’m working on. There really isn’t much to show, though. It’s only one strip out of many that I need to make, and in the picture, it’s folded into three, so it’s much longer than shown.

Yay! A few more colors are done!

I got a few more colors stitched in, but progress is a bit slower now, due to things happening at home that I have no control over. But, I did finish a good chunk of stitches, so here’s the picture of that:

I’ve also discovered I have waaaaaay too much yarn, and all in varying amounts, so I’ve started using that to crochet a huge blanket (and by huge I mean 6 feet by 5 feet). There’s no picture of that yet, but I’ll take one once there’s something to actually show.
